Recently, I read in Annemarie Colbin’s text Food and Healing, that “calves given their own mother’s milk that had first been pasteurized didn’t live more than six weeks” (page 154).
Also, she writes that “An increased incidence of problems, including a reduced ability to reproduce, was noted in laboratory animals fed pasteurized milk for several generations (ibid).”
Indeed, Dr. Carolee Bateson-Koch goes so far as to say, “As our food supply is increasingly tampered with by all the various forms of processing, it is apparent that no race in history has ever attempted to live on the diet that North Americans are now eating. There is no scientific proof that we can healthfully live on it. There is considerable evidence that we cannot” (Allergies: Disease in Disguise, published 1994, page 98).
