Origanum Oil – known in the marketplace as Oreganol by North American Herb and Spice®, Oil of Oregano by NOW Foods®, and many other derivatives – is an antifungal.
Scientists from North American Herb and Spice® linked up with scientists from Georgetown University Medical Center in 
Washington, DC, and Creighton University School of Pharmacy and AHP in Omaha, NE, to research how effective Origanum Oil from Origanum vulgare is against the fungus Candida albicans. In both in vitro and in vivo studies, the study showed the effectiveness of this edible plant.
