Just had fun writing a tongue-in-cheek post about washing the marble floors @ home with E-cloths. Check it out! Those cloths are miraculous! While my purple porridge cooked this morning, I decided to wash my kitchen floor. It needed a scrub. I enjoyed listening to a presentation last week by Mr. Pat Martin, operations manager with Westcoast Instant Lawns (WIL). Situated on acreage out in Delta in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, WIL is a part of Enviro-smart Organics Ltd., a full cycle company. The company turns out two main products: topsoil and instant lawns. I received an e-mail from Denise Johnson asking whether Savings, Naturally would consider donating a prize to the event she is organizing. She is a volunteer for an organization called DREAM (designing routes to education and mentorship). In her own words, The environmental working group for the DREAM program is running a contest for the Dunnville [...] Saving things comes fairly naturally to me. Saving time; saving money; saving energy; saving product. If I see someone stooped over, I stand up taller. If I see someone walking tall, I stand up taller. I am influenced by all around me. Shake, shine, and sharpen what your Momma gave you. Then shimmy your shape shamelessly. Fresh earth dimpled with tulip bulbs awaits the warmth of spring. Till then, it will be covered with leaves and snow. Ate (Chinese) and chatted yesterday with Anna (noodle soup) and Gerry (crepes), in BCFC’s food court while waiting for 7:45 pm ferry. Great! |
